Primary Teaching Assistant

We are seeking dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join schools across Blackburn. Full-time and part-time positions available, with flexibility to choose your preferred age group - from EYFS to Year 6.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a school or with children is essential

• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Teaching & Learning or Childcare) are preferred

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH or behavioural needs is highly desirable

• Strong communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and independently when required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
