Interim Portfolio Surveyor (ASC and Education)
Location: London (hybrid, 2 days per week on-site)
Rate: Circa £400-450 per day
Contract: 4 Days per week, 6-month contract
Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for an Interim Portfolio Surveyor to act as the strategic lead for a defined sub-portfolio of a local authority estate, with a focus across Adult Social Care and Education assets.
You will lead end-to-end estate management activity across the portfolio, driving value, service outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction, and providing professional property advice across the wider estate where required.
Responsibilities include
- Strategic management of ASC and Education property portfolios, ensuring best value and customer outcomes
- Whole-life asset management including acquisitions, property management, lease events and disposals
- Leading disposal activity when required, coordinating internal approvals and delivery
- Producing reports/papers and supporting governance processes
- Working closely with legal and finance teams through all property transactions
- Proactive stakeholder management, keeping services informed throughout
About You
- Strong local government property experience (essential), specifically across ASC and Education portfolios
- Broad estates and asset management capability across transactions and property management
- Confident report writing and governance support experience
- Able to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple workstreams
