Pastoral Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Manager to join a supportive secondary school in January 2026. You will play a key role in promoting students' welfare, behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing, ensuring every young person feels supported and able to thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Lead behaviour and pastoral support across a year group or key stage
• Work collaboratively with SLT, Heads of Year, and external agencies
• Support safeguarding processes and manage concerns appropriately
• Build strong relationships with students and families
• Monitor attendance and behaviour data to support positive outcomes

Requirements:

• Previous pastoral, safeguarding, or behaviour management experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to build trust and rapport with young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
