Outreach Teaching Assistant - Halifax and Surrounding Areas

Pay: Starting from £120 per day (higher rates available depending on experience)
Contract: Ongoing / Flexible placements

Are you a passionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new challenge? We're looking for a Level 3 qualified Outreach Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting pupils across a range of schools in the Halifax area.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong teaching experience who thrives on variety, independence, and making a positive difference in young people's lives.

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) - essential

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - travel between schools required

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

• A confident and experienced classroom practitioner

• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff across different settings

• A flexible, proactive approach to supporting learning and behaviour

Your Role Will Include:

• Delivering one-to-one and small group support in a range of school environments

• Assisting with learning interventions and tailored support plans

• Encouraging engagement, confidence, and progress for each pupil

• Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to deliver consistent support

• Maintaining professional records and reporting on pupil development
