Outreach Worker - Halifax

Location: Halifax and surrounding areas
Pay: From £120 per day (higher rates available depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Ongoing placements

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a confident and skilled Outreach Worker to support pupils across multiple schools in the Halifax area.

Key Requirements:

• Must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle - travel between schools required

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

• Strong teaching and classroom support experience, ideally across different age groups or SEN settings

• Confident working independently and adapting to different school environments

• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils in various school settings

• Implement tailored interventions to support academic and emotional development

• Work closely with school staff and parents to track progress and set achievable goals

• Promote inclusion and positive behaviour through supportive, consistent practice

• Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to teaching teams
