Senior Operations Manager - Family Assessment & Learning Disability Services
Location: Staffordshire
Salary: £70,000 (reviewed as services grow)
Hours: Full-time (flexible initially)
We are working on behalf of a well-established private care provider in Staffordshire to recruit a senior, experienced leader to take responsibility for the development and operational oversight of two newly established services: a Family Assessment Centre and a Learning Disability Service.
This is a bespoke and newly created role within an organisation that already operates a successful portfolio of children's residential homes. Due to continued growth and service diversification, our client is seeking a high-calibre professional to take ownership of these specialist provisions and support their ongoing development.
The Role
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Family Assessment Centre and Learning Disability service
Support service development, growth, and regulatory compliance
Work closely with senior leadership to shape and embed best practice
Play a key role in establishing systems, structures, and standards
Initially hands-on, with scope to evolve as services expand
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience within Family Assessment services (essential)
Experience within Learning Disability services (highly desirable)
Strong leadership, operational, and regulatory knowledge
Comfortable working in a developing service environment
Passionate about quality, outcomes, and service excellence
Candidates with strong Family Assessment experience alone will be considered.
