Occupational Therapist (Social Services)

Full time locum contract

Located in Manchester (Hybrid working)

£35 p/h Umbrella

We are partnering with a local Authority who are recruiting 2 locum Occupational Therapists for their social services ( x 1 moving and handling, x 1 general) in Manchester.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and plan person-centred packages to meet the individual needs of service users to promote their independence.
• Manage a diverse caseload, including complex and challenging situations that require thorough, holistic, and strengths-based occupational therapy assessments.
• recommending innovative and individual plans to help individuals achieve their goals and engage in daily activities.

Requirements:

• Must have a Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy and must have current HCPC registration.
• Current driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Hold or willing to work towards achieving accredited Manual Handing and Advice Training.
