Occupational Therapist
Full time locum contract
Located in Lowestoft, Suffolk
£35 p/h Umbrella
We are recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our local authorities client in Lowestoft.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and timely front-line occupational therapy services.
- Support triage processes and reduce duplication between health and social care services to minimise waiting lists.
- Advise and support external care providers to ensure safe moving and handling practices.
- Review care packages to ensure best value for Adult Social Care and optimal use of equipment.
- Assess and review double-handed care packages.
- Provide mutual aid to other OT areas as required.
- Carry out comprehensive OT assessments and reviews across the directorate.
Requirements:
- Must have a Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy and must have current HCPC registration.
- Need to be familiar with manual handling and experienced to a grade 6 or equivalent.
- Must be local to Lowestoft or able to commute daily.
