Occupational Therapist - Adults & Paediatrics
Locum contract (12 months minimum)
Full time or part time
Hybrid working - 2 days minimum onsite
£32 - £38p/h Umbrella
We are recruiting an experienced Social Services Occupational Therapist to join our Local Authorities team in Islington, covering a mixed caseload of Adults (60-70%) and Paediatrics (30-40%).
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 2-3 cases per week, adjusted based on complexity.
- Assess and support adult service users requiring major adaptations and manual handling.
- Work with children and families, including those with challenging behaviours, completing assessments for major adaptations within social care or NHS settings.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver positive outcomes.
Requirements:
- Must have a Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy and must have current HCPC registration.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist within social care across both paediatrics and adults.
- Strong knowledge of adult social care adaptations and manual handling.
