Nurture Teacher - SEND Secondary School 📚✨
Location: Redhill / Chaldon, Surrey
Salary: £34,398 - £48,913 + £5,000 welcome bonus (for qualified teachers)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week

A specialist SEND secondary school in Surrey is seeking a Nurture Teacher to support pupils aged 11-16 with autism, social communication, emotional regulation and sensory processing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver differentiated teaching tailored to individual needs

• Plan, assess and monitor student progress

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team

• Manage behaviour positively and consistently

• Contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience in SEND / ASC settings

• Strong understanding of the national curriculum

• Knowledge of autism and SEMH needs

Desirable

• SEND qualification

• Curriculum development experience
