Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Term Time Only
Pay: From £16.25 per hour, dependent on experience
Spencer Clarke Group are working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Bromborough who are seeking a dedicated Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
This role will involve supporting pupils with special educational needs within a mainstream classroom, providing structured and consistent support to help children access learning and develop confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.
Support children with communication, emotional regulation and behaviour.
Assist pupils in accessing the primary curriculum through adapted learning strategies.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support plans.
Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Promote independence while maintaining structure and consistency for pupils.
Requirements:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND within a primary school setting.
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
A patient, proactive and empathetic approach.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
