Spencer Clarke Group are working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Bromborough who are seeking a dedicated Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This role will involve supporting pupils with special educational needs within a mainstream classroom, providing structured and consistent support to help children access learning and develop confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.

• Support children with communication, emotional regulation and behaviour.

• Assist pupils in accessing the primary curriculum through adapted learning strategies.

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support plans.

• Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.

• Promote independence while maintaining structure and consistency for pupils.

Requirements:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND within a primary school setting.

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

• A patient, proactive and empathetic approach.

• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
