Provide pastoral support - helping pupils to feel safe, valued, and understood within the school environment.
Assist in developing and implementing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
Encourage pupils to take responsibility for their learning and behaviour, celebrating successes along the way.
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, acting as a consistent role model and mentor.
Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals (such as therapists and social workers) to ensure joined-up support.
When required, provide short-term class cover, delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
About You
You will be a calm, patient, and resilient individual who thrives on helping children overcome barriers to learning.
You should have:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

A nurturing, trauma-informed approach to supporting children.
Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
The ability to work collaboratively within a skilled, multidisciplinary team.

A safe and structured environment with high levels of support and understanding.
Therapeutic interventions to help pupils manage emotions, build confidence and develop life skills.
A curriculum focused on academic, social, and emotional growth.
A team of committed professionals who believe that every child deserves the chance to succeed.
We Offer
A strong, supportive team and leadership who prioritise staff wellbeing.
