Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Salford)

Location: Salford
Start Date: After Easter
Contract: Full-time / Term-time only (flexible options may be considered)

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a primary school setting? We are seeking a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Salford, starting after the Easter break.

The Role:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning and development across the curriculum. You will provide both in-class support and small group interventions, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities
  • Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' wellbeing
  • Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within a primary school setting
  • A good understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
