We are seeking a caring and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities within a welcoming and inclusive school environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
The Role
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of SEND needs within the classroom
  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities
  • Help promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support pupil progress

Requirements

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience supporting children with SEND needs
  • A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
