Rate: £15-£25 per hour - Negotiable DOE
Contract Length: 3-6-month initial contract

We are currently working with a Local Authority who are looking to appoint a Legal Officer to their Property and Redevelopment team.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine property conveyancing matters, including acquisitions and disposals.
• Drafting and advising on leases, notices to quit, registrations and charges.
• Advising on legal matters arising from the Council's role as landowner.
• Handling a range of local government legal issues, including statutory orders and miscellaneous matters.

Key Requirements

• Member of CILEX (or equivalent), or due to be admitted within the next six months.
• At least 6 months' relevant post-qualification or practising experience.
• Sound knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
