Learning Support Assistant - Specialist Provisions (Central Lancashire)
📍 Locations: Preston, Chorley, Leyland & Bamber Bridge
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
💰 Pay: £106 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
We have several exciting opportunities for Learning Support Assistants to join a range of specialist education provisions across Central Lancashire, including Preston, Chorley, Leyland, and Bamber Bridge.
These rewarding roles involve supporting children and young people with a variety of additional needs, helping them to reach their full potential in a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
You'll work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to provide tailored assistance that meets the individual needs of each learner.
What We're Looking For:
✅ No formal qualifications or prior school experience required - full support provided
✅ A caring, patient, and proactive approach
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ Ability to travel to one or more of the listed areas
Desirable experience includes:
Work within support work, care, or healthcare settings
Personal experience supporting a family member or friend with additional needs
Requirements:
Must have 24 months of employment references with no large gaps in employment history
Must hold a current Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (UDS), or be willing to apply and pay for one prior to starting
