Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Officer for a Local Authority Client in West London.

In this role, you will provide housing advice, manage applications and casework, support financial and administrative processes, and act as a key point of contact for residents and partner agencies.

Duties:

  • Provide first-point housing advice to residents via phone, email, and in person.
  • Assess and manage Housing Register applications under Part VI of the Housing Act.
  • Process invoices, maintain records, and support financial and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate statutory reviews, complex cases, and liaise with solicitors and partner agencies.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience providing customer service or advice in a housing or public service setting.
  • Knowledge of Housing Act legislation, particularly Part VI and Part VII, is desirable.
  • Experience managing administrative tasks, including records, databases, and correspondence.
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workloads, and collaborate effectively within a team.

What's on offer:

Salary: £27ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
