Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Officer for a Local Authority Client in North London.
In this role, you will support households in temporary accommodation by managing tenancies, resolving housing issues, and helping residents move into suitable private rented homes.
Duties:
- Manage tenancies and maintain temporary accommodation to required standards
- Provide housing advice and support to residents
- Investigate and resolve complaints, disrepair, and ASB issues
- Assist residents to move on into suitable private rented housing
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience in homelessness, housing management, or housing advice
- Knowledge of housing law and homelessness legislation
- Skilled in handling tenancy issues, complaints, and ASB
- Strong IT, communication, and customer service skills
What's on offer:
Salary: £27ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
