Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Options Officer for a Local Authority Client in Warwickshire.
In this role, you will assess housing needs, provide expert advice, and support customers to find sustainable housing solutions.
Duties:
- Assess applicants housing needs and provide tailored advice.
- Manage homelessness prevention and relief cases, including Personal Housing Plans.
- Register and evaluate applications in line with the Council's Lettings Scheme.
- Liaise with partner agencies and support access to housing and support services.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience in housing advice, homelessness, or social housing services.
- Skilled in assessing customer needs and providing practical solutions.
- Proven ability to work with vulnerable clients in sensitive situations.
- Experience collaborating with partner agencies and multi-disciplinary teams.
What's on offer:
Salary: £20ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
