Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Officer for a Local Authority Client in Manchester.
In this role you will manage a housing patch, working with residents and partners to resolve tenancy and estate issues and help create safe and clean neighbourhoods.
Duties:
- Manage a designated housing patch, acting as the main contact for tenants and estate issues.
- Carry out tenancy visits and support residents to sustain their tenancies and wellbeing.
- Respond to and resolve issues such as ASB, fly-tipping, safeguarding concerns, and repairs.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to improve estates and neighbourhood outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience in housing management, tenancy sustainment, or frontline customer service.
- Experience dealing with complex or sensitive issues such as ASB, safeguarding, or complaints.
- Experience working with vulnerable people and supporting positive outcomes.
- Experience working collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies.
What's on offer:
Salary: £18+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
