Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Officer for a Local Authority Client in Nottinghamshire.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, office-based housing advice and administrative support to customers, helping them access and sustain safe, affordable homes in line with legislation and council policy.
Duties:
- Provide housing advice and customer support on tenancies, lettings and allocations
- Process tenancy amendments and support the early stages of the void process
- Respond to customer, complaint and councillor enquiries professionally
- Deliver accurate administrative support and maintain housing records
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience working in housing services or a customer-focused public sector role
- Knowledge of social housing, tenancy management and relevant legislation
- Proven administrative experience managing high volumes of work accurately
- Experience using housing management systems, ideally NEC Housing
What's on offer:
Salary: £17ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
