Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Officer for a Local Authority Client in Northwest London.
In this role, you will deliver a high-quality housing management service that supports tenants, leaseholders, and the wider community.
Duties:
- Manage tenancies and leaseholds, including enquiries, estate issues, ASB cases, rent arrears, and legal actions.
- Deliver excellent customer service, providing advice, home visits, and prompt responses to residents and community groups.
- Maintain safe, well-managed estates, overseeing repairs, caretaking, grounds maintenance, and service standards.
- Work collaboratively with partners and teams, keeping accurate records and supporting continuous service improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience delivering housing services and working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse communities and in partnership with other organisations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage complex tenancy, ASB, or estate-related issues.
- Confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records to support effective service delivery.
What's on offer:
Salary: £23+
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
