Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Officer for a Local Authority Client in West London.

In this role you'll support residents day-to-day, sort out tenancy issues, and help create safer, stronger communities.

Duties:

  • Support residents by providing advice, guidance and access to services so they can thrive in their homes and communities.
  • Manage tenancies, from sign-ups and audits to tenancy changes, making sure everything runs fairly and smoothly.
  • Resolve issues such as anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches while offering sensitive support to vulnerable residents.
  • Work in partnership with residents, colleagues and local agencies to keep neighbourhoods safe, welcoming and well-managed.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience managing tenancies, leases or housing cases from start to finish.
  • Knowledge of housing law, tenancy agreements and neighbourhood management.
  • Background in handling complex issues such as ASB, safeguarding or tenancy breaches.
  • Proven track record of working with residents, partners and agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

What's on offer:

Salary: £23+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
