Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Advisor for a Local Authority Client in East London.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for residents, providing expert advice, resolving enquiries, and ensuring excellent customer service across all housing services.
Duties:
- Respond to resident enquiries via phone, email, and in person, resolving issues at first contact.
- Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and support specialist housing teams.
- Record actions and maintain accurate customer records in ICT systems.
- Undertake outbound calls, process forms, and support resident engagement activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience working in a customer-facing or contact centre environment.
- Knowledge of housing policies, procedures, and resident services.
- Experience handling difficult conversations and resolving enquiries effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, or similar software.
What's on offer:
Salary: £26ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
