Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Homelink Advisor for a Local Authority Client in Nottinghamshire.
In this role, you will support Housing Solutions by helping applicants complete HomeLink housing applications, verifying eligibility, and providing clear, professional housing advice.
Duties:
- Support applicants to complete HomeLink housing applications in person and over the phone
- Assess and verify eligibility and qualification for the housing register
- Allocate applicants to the correct priority band in line with allocations policy
- Provide accurate housing advice and complete associated administrative tasks efficiently
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience working in a housing or customer-focused environment
- Knowledge of housing allocations, eligibility, or homelessness legislation (desirable)
- Ability to make accurate decisions in a fast-paced, pressurised setting
- Strong communication skills with a firm but fair approach to customer service
What's on offer:
Salary: £17ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
