Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Homelink Advisor for a Local Authority Client in Nottinghamshire.
In this role, you will support residents to access social housing by guiding them through the HomeLink application process, verifying eligibility, and providing clear, compassionate housing advice.
Duties:
- Support residents to complete HomeLink housing applications in person and over the phone.
- Verify applicant eligibility and assign appropriate priority bands in line with policy.
- Provide clear advice on housing options and related services.
- Maintain accurate records and effective communication with internal and external partners.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience working in a housing or customer service environment.
- Ability to make accurate decisions under pressure with tact and professionalism.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
What's on offer:
Salary: £17ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
