Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Neuro)

Full time, Permanent

Up to £48,257 per annum

Located in Northamptonshire

We are working with a private specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service who are recruiting a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to help service users develop and improve their speech, language, and communication skills.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with service users to encourage engagement, participation, and empowerment in their recovery journey.
• Manage a designated caseload of neurological patients, completing assessments, planning and implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes in line with individual care plans.
• Demonstrate specialist skills in managing complex cases, including consideration of cultural and linguistic differences, and develop appropriate caseload management strategies.

Requirements:

• Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Neuro experience is essential.
• Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia
