A welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Wigan is seeking a dedicated Teacher of French to join their vibrant Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and motivated teacher who wants to instil a love of French language and culture in their students. You'll be joining a supportive school community that values innovation, enthusiasm, and high standards of teaching.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching French across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence in language learning.
- Be committed to supporting students' academic and personal development.
- Bring a positive attitude, strong subject knowledge, and a passion for teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
