Finance Manager

What You'll Be Doing

• Take the lead on the company's financial performance by producing accurate insights, managing budgets, and supporting long-term planning.
• Work closely with leadership to provide clear, practical guidance that shapes key business decisions.
• Lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and timely reporting.
• Implement and improve internal processes and controls to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyse business performance, highlighting opportunities or risks to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and payroll requirements.
• Play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives, helping the finance function work smarter and more effectively.

Who We're Looking For

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or in the final stages of your qualification journey.
• Experience in a commercial finance role, ideally within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or a similar sector.
• Confident communicator who can build relationships across all levels of the business and influence key stakeholders.
• Highly organised, analytical, and proactive, with strong attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities and supporting the business with practical financial solutions.

What's on Offer
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Bonus: Discretionary, based on personal and company performance
