Finance Manager - Remote Working
A Local Authority in the South West who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager on an Interim basis: The Council are working with Spencer Clarke Group to fill the role.
About the role:
Based in South West (Remote):
The successful candidate will manage the funding of appropriate education provision for a wide range of children & young people with special needs and will provide financial expertise as well as leading on specialist advice & guidance relating to a range of financial queries
What's on offer:
- Salary: £450 - £550 per day, inside IR35.
*negotiable based on experience

- Hybrid/Remote
- Contract type: Contract (37 hrs a week)
- Hours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- To provide confident leadership and clear management of SEND Finance processes whilst maintaining oversight of spend & monthly budgetary reporting, supporting monthly forecasting.
- Reporting on the high needs block, operationalising a range of services, ensuring they are delivering outcomes in accordance with legislation & local specification.
- Management & development of the SEND Finance Team in the provision of customer focused financial planning ensuring compliance against relevant statute and legislation.
