Family Time Team Co-ordinator

We are delighted to be working in partnership with a Local Authority in Worcestershire to recruit an experienced Family Time Team Coordinator within Children's Services.

As the Family Time Coordinator, you will take the lead in managing and delivering the family time service for children and young people, including those supported through adoption or special guardianship plans. This is a pivotal role where you will oversee staff, ensure service delivery runs smoothly, and maintain a consistently high standard of child-focused practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage referrals and determine service eligibility through the LCS system.
• Supervise, support, and develop Family Time Workers, including responsibility for recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Oversee risk assessments and Family Time Plans, ensuring they are outcome-driven and compliant with statutory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with service managers to develop innovative practice solutions and contribute to strategic service planning.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and effective oversight of staff caseloads.

About You

• Substantial experience of working with children and families in a family support capacity is essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop staff.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centered services.

Contract Details

• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
• Contract Length: 3-6 months
• Pay Rate: £18.00 - £24.00 per hour
• Hours: 37 per week
