Family Support Worker Band 6

We are seeking experienced Family Support Workers to join our client's team in Darlington, working with Looked After Children within the service.
As a Family Support Worker, you will hold a caseload of children identified as Children in Need. You will be responsible for completing assessments, developing plans, and delivering interventions to support the children allocated to you.
Key Duties:
- Carry out detailed assessments of children and their families
- Develop and implement support plans tailored to individual needs
- Deliver direct interventions with children and families to promote safety and wellbeing
- Work closely with social workers and other professionals as part of a multi-agency team
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports to support decision making
- Promote positive outcomes for children at risk of becoming looked after
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience supporting children and families in a statutory or safeguarding setting
- Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills
- Access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Experienced in working with children and families.
Contract Length: 3-6 months (expectation of ongoing extension)
Rate of pay: £13-£17 per hour, (negotiable DOE)
Hours: 37 hours each week - Fulltime.
