Are you an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role?
Our partner Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in South Manchester is seeking a confident, resilient and empathetic practitioner to join their dedicated team this January.

💼 The Role

  • Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to help children re-engage with learning

  • Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour using restorative approaches

  • Working alongside teachers, pastoral staff and external agencies

  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing and consistent learning environment

⭐ About You

  • Previous SEMH / PRU / behaviour support experience essential

  • Calm, patient and able to build positive relationships

  • Confident using behaviour management strategies

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a specialist team

  • Committed to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people
