English Teacher

We at Spencer Clarke Group are delighted to be supporting a secondary school in Bolton who are seeking an English Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis, teaching Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys delivering engaging English lessons and supporting pupils to achieve strong outcomes in reading, writing and communication.

The Role

• Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Supporting pupils of varying abilities to make strong progress
• Contributing positively to the wider English department and school community
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a degree in English
• Has QTS
• Confident teaching English at KS3 and KS4
• Passionate about literacy, language and student progress
• Strong classroom management and positive, professional approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
