A secondary school in Lancashire is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable English Teacher to join their successful English department on a maternity cover basis from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of literature and language while supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
- Be confident delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Be committed to supporting pupil progress and attainment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
