Job Title: Electrical Inspector
Location: North London / Hybrid
Contract: 6-months ongoing
Pay: Inside IR35 - Negotiable
A local authority based in North London are currently recruiting for an Interim Electrical Inspector.
Main Responsibilities
- MS Outlook – Writing emails and updating Engineers and Project Managers
- Meetings – writing meeting notes and actions
- Surveys of Low/High rise buildings
- Report writing, Condition Reports/Feasibility Reports (MS Excel & MS Word)
- Inspections –
- recording progress of Electrical Works
- highlighting issues of Electrical Services i.e. specification, regulatory, health & safety or engineering preference
- recording journey for project
- Customer Care – liaising with residents and working out of hours (time given back in lieu)
- Quality & Standards – Snagging with the Main Contractor and recording this for file
- Handover – Soft landings process to Repairs & Maintenance
Qualifications/Experience
- City & Guilds (Level 3) or equivalent
- IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
- 5years+ previous working experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of Electrical Installations (Domestic and Residential Buildings (Communal))
