Locum Educational Psychologist - North West England

We are looking for experienced Educational Psychologist who are looking for flexible locum work. We're partnering with a Local Authority in North West England to provide psychological advice for Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).

What the Role Involves

• Completing assessments of children in their educational context

• Writing clear, statutory reports to support EHCP decision-making

• Providing evidence-based recommendations for learning, emotional, and behavioural support

• Offering guidance and training to school staff

• Collaborating with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals

Each piece of work is structured to take approximately two days, with a five-week turnaround for quality assurance. While face-to-face assessments are preferred, there is some flexibility for remote work.

Who We're Looking For

• Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology

• HCPC registered (essential)

• Strong communication and report-writing skills

• Experience supporting children and young people in educational settings

Terms & Benefits

• Day rate: £600

• Contract type: Locum

• IR35 status: Outside IR35
