Dual Registered Manager

Spencer Clarke are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager to oversee a 7-bed children's residential home and a 1-bed domiciliary care setting in Wakefield, supporting children and young people with complex needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead two closely linked services, managed by a forward-thinking organisation with a strong focus on quality care, progression, and staff development. You will have full autonomy to shape the services, recruit and lead your team, and ensure high standards are met across both settings.

What the role requires:

• 
  A minimum of 5 years' experience in residential childcare
• 
  At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role (e.g. Deputy Manager)
• 
  Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
• 
  Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
• 
  A recent track record of managing or working within a service rated "GOOD" or "OUTSTANDING" by Ofsted

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• 
  Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of both the 7-bed children's home and the 1-bed domiciliary setting
• 
  Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards
• 
  Leading and developing a high-performing staff team
• 
  Managing budgets, resources, and placement matching
• 
  Overseeing care planning and safeguarding procedures
• 
  Working in partnership with external agencies and families
• 
  Preparing for inspections, audits, and reviews
