We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school with a thriving sixth form in Wiltshire, rated Good by Ofsted, to appoint a Deputy Headteacher / SENDCo for the new academic year.

As Deputy Headteacher / SENDCo, you will play a key strategic role within the senior leadership team, driving whole-school improvement while leading and developing SEND provision across the school.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the school's SEND provision, ensuring high-quality support for all students
- Contributing to the strategic direction and leadership of the school as part of the SLT
- Supporting teaching and learning to raise attainment and progress across all key stages, including sixth form
- Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies
- Promoting an inclusive culture where every student can thrive

The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS and the NASENCo qualification (or is willing to work towards it)
- Has proven leadership experience within a secondary school setting
- Demonstrates a strong track record of improving outcomes for students with SEND

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
