Dance and Drama Teacher

Are you a Dance and Drama teacher seeking a new position for 2026? We are working with a well-resourced secondary school within Wigan who are looking for a teacher for two terms from January 2026.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work within a well supported department.

The ideal person will:

• Hold QTS or relevant experience in teaching Dance and Drama within Secondary schools
• Have a passion for the subject
• Great classroom skills
• Be Flexible, reliable and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering Dance & Drame lessons across KS3-KS4
• Encouraging creativity, expression, and confidence in students
• Supporting productions, performances, and extracurricular activities where possible
• Maintaining positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment
• Will be some expectation to help deliver school shows.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
