Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Revenue and Benefits Customer Services Advisor for a Local Authority Client in Macclesfield.
In this role you will provide customer support and advice on Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support enquiries.
Duties:
- Respond to customer enquiries relating to Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.
- Provide clear advice and guidance to residents and businesses.
- Update and maintain accurate records on council systems.
- Work with colleagues to resolve queries and deliver efficient customer service.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience delivering high-quality customer service.
- Experience handling enquiries by phone, email or digital channels.
- Experience using IT systems to record and update information accurately.
- Ability to explain information clearly and resolve customer queries.
What's on offer:
Salary: £18ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
