Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Customer Service Officer for a Local Authority Client in North London.
In this role, you will provide high-quality customer service by handling a high volume of resident enquiries efficiently, professionally, and with a strong focus on first-contact resolution.
Duties:
- Handle a high volume of customer enquiries via phone and other contact channels.
- Provide accurate information and resolve issues at first point of contact where possible.
- Record and update customer information clearly and correctly on internal systems.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet service targets and customer standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or contact centre environment.
- Confident handling a high volume of calls in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Experience using customer service systems and basic IT applications.
What's on offer:
Salary: £23ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
