Cover Supervisor

Are you considering a career in education or looking to gain hands-on classroom experience? We're working closely with secondary schools who are seeking Unqualified Teachers / Cover Supervisors to support with day-to-day and short-term cover.

We are working with schools across the North East, locations include - Newcastle, Durham, Middlesborough, Sunderland, Darlington and surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people who wants to step into education.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Support pupils with their learning and engagement
• Gain invaluable experience across a range of secondary schools

What We're Looking For:

• Confident, reliable, and adaptable individuals
• Strong classroom presence and communication skills
• A genuine interest in working with young people
• Previous experience with children or young adults is desirable (not essential)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
