Cover Supervisor

We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools, delivering pre-set lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher.

This role is ideal for individuals considering a career in education or those with experience working with young people who are confident managing a classroom.

We work with secondary schools all across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. So if you live within a FY postcode we will be able to help assist you.

The Role:

• Supervising classes during teacher absence using pre-planned lesson materials
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a focused learning environment
• Supporting pupils to stay on task and complete set work
• Following school behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Providing feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and behaviour

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children or young people (education, coaching, youth work, etc.)
• Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
• Professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication skills
• Teaching or education qualifications are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
