We are currently recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist (CYPMHS) on behalf of a leading private mental healthcare provider.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist Child and Young People's Mental Health Service, providing consultant-level psychiatric care to young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs within an inpatient setting.
The Role:
- Provide senior clinical leadership within a CYPMHS service
- Deliver psychiatric assessments, diagnosis and treatment planning
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews
- Support safeguarding, governance and service development
- Provide supervision to junior medical staff
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise
- Section 12 approval (or eligibility)
- CCT in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (or equivalent)
- Experience working within CAMHS/CYPMHS settings
