About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, patient and dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Sale. This is a full-time role working with pupils who have a range of complex learning, physical, and communication needs.

You'll work closely with class teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support, promote independence, and help pupils achieve their individual learning goals in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with complex needs.

• Assist in implementing individual education and care plans.

• Support pupils with personal care and mobility where required.

• Help create an inclusive, engaging and positive learning environment.

• Communicate effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents.

• Support behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.

About You

• Experience supporting children or young people with complex or additional needs (school, care, or similar setting).

• A caring, resilient and flexible approach to supporting pupils.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEND training) are desirable but not essential.
