Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Complaints Officer for a Local Authority Client in Nottinghamshire.
In this role, you will manage and support the investigation of housing complaints, ensuring they are handled fairly, efficiently, and in line with regulatory standards.
Duties:
- Manage and review complaints, collate information, acknowledge complaints, and support investigation notes.
- Assist in preparing clear and professional complaint responses.
- Handle complaints in line with the Housing Ombudsman Code and council policies and prepare information for submissions.
- Implement outcomes, recommendations, and maintain accurate complaint records.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience managing or supporting the investigation of complaints or service issues.
- Ability to draft clear, professional correspondence and reports.
- Understanding of relevant policies, procedures, or codes of practice, ideally in housing or local government.
- Experience maintaining accurate records, managing information, and prioritising tasks effectively.
What's on offer:
Salary: £25ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
