My client in Greater London are looking to appoint a talented Communications Account Manager on a Contract basis.
My client are looking for someone with a strong press office background, including finding great news hooks, editorial skills, knowledge of media, corporate comms campaigns, and media & crisis management.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £30 per hour, Inside IR35
*negotiable based on experience

About the role:
Based in Greater London (Hybrid):
- Devise, manage and oversee the delivery of cross-cutting, audience-led communications plans
- Support senior council leaders and managers with strategic advice on communications campaign planning
- Act as the main communications point of contact for a defined portfolio area, including attending meetings with senior stakeholders
- Proactively challenge higher cost and lower impact communications
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- A proven track record of developing and implementing successful audience led communication strategies
- Substantial and demonstrable understanding and experience of external and internal communication techniques
- Local Authority experience is essential
