We are supporting a client in seeking a Registered Manager for a brand-new children's residential home opening in South Liverpool.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a new service from day one, build a strong team, and create a safe, nurturing environment for young people.
In this role, you will lead the day-to-day running of a new children's home, ensuring full compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards while acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead and fostering a safe, child?centred culture. You will also recruit and develop the staff team, oversee care planning and Ofsted readiness, and work collaboratively with external professionals to drive continuous improvement and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day running of a new children's home.
- Ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead and promote a safe, child-centred culture.
- Recruit, supervise and develop the staff team.
- Oversee care planning, Ofsted readiness and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with external professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Leadership & Management (or working towards) plus Level 3/4 Residential Childcare.
- Experience within a regulated residential setting, including supervisory/management experience.
- Strong safeguarding and regulatory knowledge.
- Full UK driving licence.
Contract Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: £45,000 - £55,000
Working pattern - 37 hours per week, onsite.
