Children's 'Ofsted' Registered Manager **
We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to work in an Ofsted registered children's 4 bedroom residential home.
Location: Preston, PR3
Contract: Permanent (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £55,000 per annum + £5k performance bonus
Must have Ofsted Registered Manager experience with a specialisation in autism **
About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a 4-bed children's residential home in Preston, supporting young people aged 8-18 with autism and associated complex needs.
You'll be part of the senior leadership team, managing and motivating staff while ensuring the home provides a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of team leaders and support workers
- Ensure high standards of care and safeguarding at all times
- Oversee the daily running of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations
- Work closely with education and clinical teams to deliver an integrated approach to care
- Build strong relationships with families and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people
- Support children in developing independence and life skills in a safe, nurturing setting
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children)
- Previous Ofsted Registered Manager experience, ideally within autism services
- Strong leadership, organisational and safeguarding skills
- Ability to inspire staff and provide compassionate, child-focused support
